Texas Stonewall Democrats Elect First Hispanic President

Eli Olivarez is co-founder of the local chapter, and will now lead the organization statewide. This group represents the issues of the lesbian , gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Olivarez was elected to this position almost at the same time that Gilberto Hinojosa, from Brownsville, was also elected the first Hispanic chairman of the democratic party statewide.
