Weslaco’s New Police Vehicles

The mayor, city commissioners and police chief were on hand at city hall this afternoon to announce that a total of 11 vehicles were purchased. Nine were paid for through city-issued bonds at a cost of about $390,000, and two were purchased with a federal grant of around $77,000.
