15-Year-Old Teen’s Body Found in Rural McAllen
Edinburg (KFXV) — The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a teenage girl. The body was found in the brush on the side of a road. A family friend initially called our newsroom to report her missing, and today, we confirmed through them that she had been missing for at least a day and a half.
The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Kassandra Ramirez. Kassandra had been reported as a runaway last Wednesday to the San Juan Police Department…The teenager’s body was found near the intersection of North Rooth Road and West Schunior Street in rural McAllen.
Hidalgo County Sheriff said a passerby called the authorities at around 8:30 this morning after locating the body. Deputies found the girl in a brushy area by the roadway.
