A fire forces a mandatory evacuation to be emitted by the emergency management services for people that live in the southern part of San Manuel.
The brush fire broke out earlier this afternoon very near the intersection of miller road and highway 281. County officials advised residents living in the Lazy Palms RV Park at U.S. 281 and floral road to take shelter at nearby Brewester Elementary.
As of this broadcast the fire has been contained nearly 80% and the residents of the trailer park were allowed to return to their homes. Firefighters from San Manuel, San Isidro and Edinburg all joined forces to put out the blaze.
